If you were able to catch the re-run of the 1 and a half hour dramatisation of The Unfortunates today on BBC Radio 3, then that’s great. Being on BBC Radio means that anyone can listen, not just the lucky folks that are in the UK.
But if you weren’t able to then you can listen to it still:
Using the iplayer: go to the programme’s website and press play. You can listen to it for 29 days.
Since you could be reading this in the future, we’ve uploaded it here so you can download it.
In 2010, Martin starred in a dramatisation of “The Unfortunates” a novel by BS Johnson’s from the 1960s.
This dramatisation is an adaptation of BS Johnson’s ‘forgotten masterpiece’ in which a sports journalist’s memories of an old friend are triggered when he travels to a strange city to cover a football match.
You can listen to it live this Sunday, November 25th at 7:30 PM UK Time from this link or after it airs you can listen to it on the programme’s website.
Next Friday (November 30) at 10PM (UK Time) BBC Four will broadcast “Stevie Wonder: a musical history” which will include a participation from Martin who as we all know is a big Stevie Wonder fan.
You can watch it live here or after it airs on the iplayer from the programme’s website. For either case, you will need to be in the UK or have an UK IP address.
